Atlas of Unreal
What if a koala ate with claws?
Atlas of Unreal is a personal editorial project, still in progress: an anatomical atlas of invented hybrid creatures, their habitats and what they eat. Around a hundred pages, hardcover like a real atlas, high-quality print.
The images are generated with Nano Banana Pro and used exactly as they come out. Black background, studio light, the lens one step from an eye, a scale, a feather. A koala with claws. A gorilla as white as a swan. A warthog dressed as a macaw.
Then come the skeletons, the cross-sections, the numbered details. And the entries: AI gives me a draft, I rewrite them in the dry voice of a zoology manual. No jokes.
The Koalobster sheds its shell once a year. Not its fur.
The Elecanary sings at dawn, trunk raised.
Seriousness does the trick. Put a number next to a rib and nobody argues whether the animal is possible anymore. They ask how much it weighs.
